University
Limayem served as the Lynn Pippenger Dean of the Muma College of Business at USF for 10 years prior to becoming UNF’s president in 2022. He has been recognized by Florida Trend as one of the state’s 500 most influential business leaders and received an award from the National Academy of Inventors for his many contributions to innovation and invention.
Athletics
The Bulls have returned to the Associated Press Top 25 Poll following its 54-26 win against Charlotte at Raymond James Stadium. As part of "Flashback Friday," USF celebrated the early years of the program with the "Robo Bull" logo adorning its helmets and at midfield.
Student Success
USF’s Baldwin School of Risk Management and Insurance has expanded to all three campuses, fueling record enrollment as Florida’s growing economy drives demand for risk professionals. The program’s growth reflects a statewide need for experts who can address risks ranging from hurricanes to cybersecurity across diverse industries.
USF’s historic invitation to join the Association of American Universities has taken what many in Tampa Bay have once considered a “best-kept secret” to an unprecedented new level. Being an AAU member is a tremendous milestone for USF as it formalizes USF's position as a leading research university. USF is the first public university in Florida to be invited to join the AAU in nearly 40 years and is now one of only two institutions from the State University System of Florida to serve as an AAU member.
